Ask Questions When Needed

I'm sure Kevin realizes that his last post was quite inclusive and might be difficult for everyone to understand. Don't be afraid to ask questions, if you need to to clarify things. It is better to ask than to try to figure things out as we go along.

  1. Thanks, Martha, I will do that maybe tomorrow. I need to go to bed soon. Is this the place where I will put messages to everyone if I need to? I have yet to find a place to make announcements or whatever.

  2. Yes Sally! This is where we will communicate. Although, try to keep questions, suggestions and answers under the post that pertains. For example if it is a question or comment about procedures, enter it in comments under the lengthy post I did yesterday "final word" ...Think about it like the forums on Factoidz. We all have authorization here to "post" so if it is a new topic, like Martha's request for CPs bios, it should be a post of it's own. Think about future content producers joining our team...They should be able to read these posts and find out all they need to know without a myriad of repetitive emails circulating. Ahhh *sigh of relief*

  3. Just a few thoughts, I posted on one of the old Docs we were using so I don't know if anyone read them
*The word counts are being made including all our notes at the top about "word counts,,,spin in progress..."
*If an article has 3 word options in the {} must all {} on that article have the same amount of options or can some be 3 and some bbe more?
*I don't know what managerial hat to offer my services for so in the mean time until I or someone else thinks of something I'm just writing.
*I ersonally don't fancy the idea of having ghost writers as suggested in oneof Kevin's emails.

  4. Don't worry about the little bit extra word count that the recording causes.

please write your concern about "ghosts" on the blog under the post: (link below). Include why you don't like the idea, and if you mean in general or for yourself only. Thanks!

  6. I'm not sure where to put this communication.. but...I just want to let you know I'm back Kevin, and whatever you want me to do, I guess you need to tell me. I guess when these last articles get done I can email them to Billy, unless that is already being handled.

  7. Kevin do I have the okay to start an inspiration blog, I had it running for the members through email, but now that has stopped.

It was just me posting in my training position, but Richard had a great idea to open in up for everyone to post inspirational quotes. My idea is that this blog will be for quotes about writing and life empowering quotes in general.

  8. Kevin: As I understand it you need to use the following format:

    Web Site

  9. Okay, that didn't work (or did it!)

Use the following format (I have included spaces so it won't come out as a hyperlink).

    Web Site

  10. Ooops! It did it again. I'm just too good at this! lol

Okay once again: Use the following format and just close up the spaces:

    < a href " http: // www. website . com " > Web Site < / a >

  11. I don't seem to be able to write posts -- only comments. I didn't think it was supposed to be that way?? Also, this page has a subscribe by email link but the other pages don't -- it would be helpful if we could subscribe to the entire blog in our emails so we won't miss anything important. Can you add one of those buttons? I know blogger has some.

  12. Wow, Martha! That is "old school" I remember having to do links that way a couple years ago. I guess it's good to do them like that in order to prevent spam...I still wish there was a button that would allow us to do them automatically.

@Teal. Let me double check to make sure that you are listed as an author. I want to make sure everyone is getting updated on new posts, so let me also check on the subscribe button. I also want to clean up the "Contributors" list, so we have first and last names only...

  13. Is there any way that we can get notified of new comments when they are made on the posts? It is rather time consuming to have to go back over all the posts to see if anyone has added anything since the last time I checked? I'm not techno savy so I may just be missing something. Any suggestions?

  14. Hey Richard!

Ys, you need to "follow by email" Look for the link. I can't tell you where it is, because once you follow, it goes away...It's impossible for this blog thing to work without following. Let me know how you make out...
